What stays on your device

The extension stores the latest fact sheet in the browser’s local extension storage so it remains available when you reopen the popup. A report includes the page origin and path, page title, a CSS selector, element geometry, relevant computed styles, ancestor selectors, scroll positions, and the hit-test result.

Reports do not include form values, cookies, network bodies, page text, screenshots, query strings, or URL fragments.

What we receive

Nothing from the extension. It has no analytics, remote API, account, or telemetry. The static product site does not use cookies or third-party scripts.

Permissions

activeTab and scripting let the extension run the picker only on the page you authorize through the toolbar or keyboard shortcut. storage keeps the latest report locally. Protected browser pages cannot be inspected.

Delete your data

Choose “Clear” in the extension, clear extension storage in your browser, or uninstall the extension. Any JSON you downloaded remains wherever you saved it.
